Mr. Oting a resident of Rwamutonga-Bugambe revealed how he was supported with agro-inputs that have changed his life in terms of food security and welfare. “I received 10 kg of maize which I planted on 3 acres. I received 4 sacks of cassava cuttings which I planted on 2 acres. I also received 13 kg of beans, and on harvest, I got up to 3 and half bags.
I am grateful to the project and Total Energies because our standards of living have improved. I am now able to pay school fees for my children on time, and we are guaranteed of food security in our house. Several community members keep coming to me for advice on proper farming. I also do sell some improved planting materials for a living”.
